Rate shopping is quietly spending your carrier discounts.
Tiersplit picks the carrier for every parcel while keeping you in the discount tiers you negotiated.
Per-order savings can break the deal behind them
You ship across several carriers, and your best rates depend on volume tiers, often measured over a rolling window. Cheapest-per-label routing drifts volume away from the carrier whose discount depends on it. You find out when the tier resets.
How it works
Forecast demand.
We forecast your volume for the rest of the contract period as a range, not a single guess.
Plan the period.
We compute the split across suppliers that minimizes your total cost, accounting for tiers, commitments, caps, and the risk of missing them.
Route every order.
Each order goes to a supplier according to today's plan. Every day, the plan updates with what actually happened.
Under the hood: demand forecasting and model predictive control, a method from industrial control engineering.
Where it applies
Shipping.
Choose the carrier for each parcel without falling out of the discount tiers you earned.
Payments.
Route each transaction to a processor, weighing fees, approval rates, and volume commitments.
AI models.
Send each request to a model provider while meeting the committed spend in your contracts.
The shape is always the same: many small decisions, a few suppliers, and contracts that price the total.
Simulation study
We're testing Tiersplit against common routing rules on synthetic data: three suppliers, tiered and committed contracts, and a year of uncertain demand. Results will be published here.
Placeholder, not a result: the comparison will go here once the study is finished.

See what it would have saved you
Send us about 12 months of order history and your supplier contracts. We replay the period with Tiersplit's policy and compare it with what you actually paid. It's free and needs no integration. Your data stays confidential.
